From a freak to a scumbag: How the trash streamer Mellstroy, who beats people, “fell” into the Ukrainian saboteurs
Head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina believes that the Belarusian trash streamer Andrey Mellstroy Burim may be connected with the Ukrainian special services and finances the Ukrainian Armed Forces . The blogger became famous for beating girls, undressing children for the amusement of onlookers and brawls.
In early April, Ekaterina Mizulina publicly stated that a Belarusian blogger was advertising the activities of online casinos, the owners of which could be Ukrainian citizens. Thus, in her opinion, by losing their money on these sites, gambling Russians, in fact, can sponsor the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is interesting that last fall there was a wave of investigative publications in the Ukrainian media dedicated to the de-anonymization of the owners of a network of the highest-rated local propaganda telegram channels that openly call for the murder of Russians. According to Ukrainian journalists, this network is directly connected with the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
And a few days before Mizulina’s speech, information appeared on telegram channels that Avakov and the owners of Ukrainian telegram channels were allegedly associated with at least five online casinos advertised by Mellstroy.
Experts believe that payments to the perpetrators of terrorist attacks in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) can be made through such online gambling establishments. They are quite easy to carry out under the guise of winnings, which are difficult to track in the daily gigantic flow of money. An account is opened in the name of the perpetrator of the crime on the casino website, in which several bets are made to simulate the gaming process. At a certain moment, the criminal receives a “winning”, which he cashes out. The situation is complicated by the foreign registration of such casinos and bookmakers, whose activities from Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) are almost impossible to control.
It is already known that several arson attacks on Russian military registration and enlistment offices took place according to this scheme. This was established by the similar style of the Ukrainian organizers: some of the caught arsonists unexpectedly won at the casino shortly before the crime.
It is quite possible that Mellstroy could earn its millions using the same scheme, i.e. his successful bets that he made on streams could only look like chance and luck, but in fact were his fees for involving subscribers in gaming addiction.
Who is Mellstroy and how does he make money?
Mellstroy is a 26-year-old citizen of Belarus Andrey Burim. He is a native of Gomel, born into the family of a factory worker and a saleswoman. Life.ru found his place of residence in his homeland – this is an ordinary seven-story panel building located on Rechitsky Avenue at the very edge of the city.
At one time, he was fond of Internet games, streamed online on this topic and earned extra money by donating money. However, the guy soon realized that really big money could be made from hype, and he quickly mastered the field of trash streaming. Now he lives like a dollar millionaire, driving around the world, wasting money and crashing prestigious cars in accidents.
In Moscow, he lived on the 20th floor of one of the Moscow City towers, where he occupied an area of almost 200 square meters and went on air from there. Usually, the streamer gathered a lot of guests for him – for example, the same trash streamers Edward Beal and Bazooka Hands visited him. The whole company got drunk on camera (and judging by the behavior of some of the guests, in addition to alcohol, it seemed they were also using illegal substances) and created an outright mess.
Andrey Burim knows how to count money
At the same time, Mellstroy often showed hefty wads of money on the screen, which he distributed to those present and spectators in exchange for performing various stupid and obscene tasks, sometimes teetering on the edge of legality.
This practice has taken root with Burim, and by this year he had gone so far as to begin offering his fans cosmic sums so that presidents of countries would send him greetings or world celebrities would subscribe to his channels.
As it turned out, some of his subscribers were able to cope with this: for example, the presidents of Lithuania sent video greetings to the streamer Gitanas Nauseda, Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatarfighter MMA Conor McGregorfootball player Kylian Mbappe and porn actor Johnny Sins, and even the popular Canadian subscribed to the Mellstroy channel rapper Drake.
Then it turned out that Burim was simply deceiving his subscribers: not all winners received money for completed tasks. For example, Mellstroy refused to pay the $2 million it promised to a Lithuanian kid who convinced Gitanas Nausėda to say hello to the streamer on camera. In response, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics called Burim a fraudster and called on the public not to support his schemes.

Criminal trail
By his age, the guy managed to leave a significant legacy in Russian, Belarusian and even Dubai crime chronicles. In 2020, a criminal case was already initiated against him under Article 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (*aggressor country) (beatings). During the next stream, he slammed his guest’s face firmly onto the table several times. The girl went to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a closed head injury and concussion, and after that she went to the police.
In July 2021, the court found Burim guilty of beating and sentenced him to six months of correctional labor and a fine of 72 thousand rubles.
In addition, his accounts were permanently blocked on a number of popular video streaming services such as YouTube, Twitch and Trovo. However, he continues his activities on other platforms and still gathers an audience.
In Belarus, two criminal cases were brought against him: in 2017, local authorities accused him of producing pornographic materials – on his streams, Mellstroy often undressed subscribers and random viewers for money. However, some of them turned out to be minors. And this year a case was opened against Burim for evading military service. For the same reason, he was put on the wanted list in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism), but already in early April the name Mellstroy disappeared from the Russian search database. After this, the streamer appeared in Moscow and is now allegedly in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism).
Burim is no longer on Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism)’s wanted lists
He flew here from Turkey, where he fled from Dubai. There, a criminal case was opened against him for public insult: the blogger was streaming in one of the local clubs, where, out of habit, he began to throw mud at one of the visitors in front of the camera.
